Wanted: Memorial Day Magic!
To me, Memorial Day Weekend is also a magical time in many ways. Summer dreams of children young and old, coupled with recognition of our national heritage and the opportunity to break bread al fresco seem to combine and heighten the joy of the events. Answer a question for me. Does fresh potato salad ever taste better than outdoors during the summer, shared with friends and family? I don’t think so. Let’s remember to savor it and the freedoms it represents.
