Enter the August Foodie Photo Contest
It’s a brand new month and we’re starting a brand new Reader Rewards contest. The goal of this particular contest is to (a) have some fun along with fellow foodies, and (b) raise awareness of the fabulous food culture that we share all share as Pee Dee residents.
How to Enter
Starting today, post your regional food-related photo that you’ve taken on my Facebook Profile, tag me (“Pee Dee Foodie”), and we’ll pick a winner on August 15th. The winner will be announced through social media and here on PeeDeeFoodie.com.
How to Win
Photos will be judged based upon creativity, composition, and overall appeal. Keep those elements in mind.
Below are a few simple rules about the image that you post for entry:
• It must be reflective of the food, foodies, and food culture of the Pee Dee region of South Carolina;
• It must be an original photograph that you have taken;
• It must be free from copyright protection, for purposes of publication on PeeDeeFoodie.com, and a previously unpublished work;
• It must meet all publication standards of Facebook.com.
The Prizes
The Reader submitting the winning photograph will be treated to lunch by Melissa and me at an upcoming Eats! Club event of his/her choice, and his/her winning image will be published here on PeeDeeFoodie.com and shared throughout our social media channels. Two runners-up will also be named and displayed in the same announcements.
