Hello Friends. Last week we posted a popular and oft-shared post about a recent visit to the Florence Downtown Farmers Market. Located in the area now known as “the Breezeway” on West Evans Street, it’s open every Wednesday from 3:00pm to 7:30pm. You notice when you visit that it offers a myriad of South Carolina products — from organic cucumbers to freshly-harvested clams.
Part of that article was a Reader Rewards contest with a prize to be awarded today. Eligibility was simple in that everyone who joined our newsletter subscription list by 6:00pm last night had their names tossed in the hat. Many of you did and we really appreciate that show of support for what we online. The prize is a Pee Dee Foodie logo Shopping Bag that’s compact and reusable.
