Valentine’s Day Restaurant Specials

Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love and that special person in your life. The love of one’s spouse or significant other is often best celebrated with a wonderful dinner at a favorite local restaurant. This year, in an effort to assist Cupid during his busy season, we’re listing restaurants offering special meals or menus for the big day.

So far, we have heard from the following:

CHUBZ in Florence, SC, is offering two entree plates, two drinks, and one appetizer for $15.99.

FOODSCAPES in Lake City, SC, is hosting a Valentines Dinner for 2 on Valentine’s Day.  For reservations call (843) 374-9866.  Share an appetizer: French Onion Brie or Ahi Tuna Poke, or Crab Avocado Mango Stack.  Choose a salad or soup: Cranberry Salad, Stolen Honey Salad, Classic Caesar Salad, or She Crab Soup. Entrees are Seafood Mornay, Filet Mignon, or Braised Pork Osso Bucco. $50.00 per couple. Price does not include beverage, alcoholic beverage, tax, or gratuity.

JOE’S GRILL in Darlington, SC, will be serving a marinated rib-eye with a Maryland crabcake, a lemon-garlic vinaigrette tossed salad, twice baked potato, Texas toast, and dessert. Iced tea is also included. Price is only $30.00 per couple.

OLDE EUROPE in Florence, SC, is offering two great options. First: an appetizer of your choice, two entrees, two glasses of wine, and a rose for the lady for $39.99. Second: an appetizer, two entrees, a bottle of wine, and a rose for the lady for $49.99.

RAILWAY CHARCOAL GRILL in Lake City, SC,  is offering a $55.00 per couple special.  It includes appetizer: Shrimp Cocktail or Handmade Crab Cake with herbed Aoli. Salad: Special Spring Mix Salad with almonds, raspberries and homemade raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Main Course: Broiled Sea Bass Filet with mango salsa, or Filet Mignon, or Rajun Cajun Pasta (chicken, sausage & pasta w/tomato cream sauce). Dessert: Red Velvet “n” Martini (with creme topping) or Chocolate Mousse (with raspberry or strawberry).
