Host: Pee Dee Foodie
Location: Midnight Rooster in Hartsville, SC
This time, Episode 09, we’re on the road visiting the Midnight Rooster in Hartsville, SC. Our topic is a new catering service coming to the Pee Dee and Grand Strand, a mobile brick oven pizza service. Called Rebel Pie, the new catering firm is owned and operated by frequent PeeDeeFoodie.com contributing blogger, Alan E. Cooke. Join us as we discuss the background on the unique equipment he uses, the sourcing of his ingredients, and much more. We also talk about the upcoming second anniversary of PeeDeeFoodie.com and how you might be able to try Rebel Pie at an upcoming event free.
We appreciate the hospitality of Midnight Rooster and its fabulous staff, who hosted us for this episode. We thoroughly enjoyed the housemade Pimento Cheese and dipping snacks, as well as the muffins purchased for the road. We hope to see you again soon for an episode about the Hartsville food scene.
