In Episode 02 of the Pee Dee Food Show we’re talking about the foods available in the Fall season and where you can find them here in the Pee Dee Region (Northeastern Corner) of South Carolina. We’re also answering the questions surrounding where to find those foods and what to look for when selecting them. Finally, we talk the cost implications of going “local versus chain” and about the Certified SC and Fresh on the Menu programs to encourage local growers to connect with local restaurants and consumers.  Almost forgot, we also talked about the impact of social media on all of the above.

Joining me, your Pee Dee Foodie, are Chefs Adam Silverman and Chris Carpenter, Master Baker Alan Cooke, Wine Expert Bryan Holt, Butcher James Hargett, and fellow foodie and Tech Guy, Garin Dickerson.
